Terms of Service
Effective October 10, 2026. By using www.electionletters.org ("the Service") you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
The Service helps you prepare a personal letter. It builds a prompt for an AI assistant of your choosing, formats the letter you paste back, and prepares it for printing. The Service does not write, print or mail letters.
2. No charge and no donations
The Service is provided free of charge. It does not sell anything and does not solicit or accept donations.
3. Your letter is yours
You are the author and sender of any letter you print. You are responsible for reading it, correcting it, deciding whether to send it, and for its contents once sent. You keep all rights in your letter. The Service claims none and keeps no copy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to prepare any letter that:
- threatens, harasses or intimidates any person;
- pretends to come from another person, a government body or any organization;
- carries a return address you are not entitled to use;
- makes statements you know to be false;
- breaks any law, including postal law.
5. AI-drafted text and accuracy
Drafts are produced by a third-party AI assistant that the Service does not operate or control. AI assistants can make mistakes. The facts and sources the Service supplies were reviewed before publication, but no guarantee is made that any draft, fact or source is complete, current or free of error. Read the sources before you send your letter.
6. Third-party services
Your use of an AI assistant, a news site or a social network reached from the Service is governed by that company's own terms and privacy policy.
7. No affiliation
The Service is not sponsored by, endorsed by or affiliated with any candidate, political party, political action committee, lobby or political organization. Letters are the protected speech of the individuals who send them, at their own expense.
8. Privacy
The Service collects no personal information. See the Privacy Policy.
9. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of the Service is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service or from any letter you send.
11. Changes, governing law and contact
These terms may be updated, and the new version will be posted on this page with its effective date. They are governed by applicable United States law. Questions may be sent to info@electionletters.org.
